Start at Shadowood Square, at 9959 Glades Road, and drive east toward Town Center at Boca Raton. Within a few miles you pass most of what is new on Boca Raton's restaurant calendar this fall. There's a French bakery whose grand opening was set for Oct. 6, a chef-driven dining room on Restaurant Row that tore up its concept and reopened in seven weeks, a Cuban espresso bar that seats eight, and two dining rooms marked "coming soon" inside the mall. Downtown has its own news, but its most anticipated fall opening is a supper club with a members-only room, and as of mid-October it still has no opening date.
This summer we wrote about the casual, resident-scale openings that carried Boca through the hot months, with destination dining lined up for the fall. The fall wave has started to arrive. Most of it is landing west of downtown, and it leans toward rooms built for repeat visits rather than special occasions.
Restaurant Row rewrote itself first
The clearest sign of the shift came on Town Center Road. Stage Kitchen & Bar opened on Restaurant Row in March 2025, under chef Pushkar Marathe. His Ela Curry & Cocktails and Stage's PGA location both received Michelin Guide recommendations this year, Boca Magazine reported. Stage served its final dinner on July 5.
Fewer than seven weeks later, Marathe and business partner Andy Dugard reopened the space at 5377 Town Center Road, Suite 200, as Boca Brasserie. It opened Aug. 20. The Palm Beach Post described the change this way:
"The acclaimed chef behind Stage Kitchen & Bar rethought his Boca Raton strategy, replacing the special-occasion restaurant with Boca Brasserie, a neighborhood dining room built for regulars."
The menu follows that brief. The restaurant previewed grilled steaks and fresh seafood, house-made pastas, wood-fired sourdough flatbreads, New York classics like matzah ball soup and a martini program with tableside service. When a chef with Michelin-recognized rooms elsewhere in Palm Beach County trades a globally inspired concept for a neighborhood brasserie, that tells you who he expects to fill the seats along this stretch on an ordinary weeknight.
A few doors down, at Two Town Center, 5355 Town Center Road, Suite 100, Café Aroma opened on May 29. It is the first brick-and-mortar café from the family-owned Cuban espresso brand, which is best known for coffee sold in grocery stores. The room is 440 square feet and seats eight. The menu covers espresso drinks made with the brand's Especial beans, plus pastelitos, croquetas and empanadas from Vicky Bakery and a small mercadito of packaged goods. Between the brasserie and the café, Restaurant Row now covers a morning cortadito and a Tuesday-night martini within a short walk of each other.

Maman at Shadowood Square
Maman is the westernmost new arrival. Boca Magazine reported that the grand opening on Oct. 6 was planned with neighboring Shadowood Square shops. Children's clothing store Tecomoabesos and jewelry store Hustle + Heart were set to host pop-ups that day. The first 50 guests to spend $15 or more at Maman would get a croissant charm, and the first 100 guests a chocolate chip cookie and a Maman tote. The menu runs to fresh-baked pastries, scratch-made breakfast and lunch, and specialty coffee and tea. The Boca café joins Maman's West Palm Beach location and a planned outpost in Delray Beach's Sundy Village. Coverage before the event is all we have found. The center's event page still lists the grand opening, so check that the doors are open before you build a Saturday morning around it.
Two new dining rooms inside Town Center
The Palm Beach Post reported on Sept. 10 that Limani Grille and Felice had both posted Town Center at Boca Raton, 6000 Glades Road, as their next location, with opening dates still to be announced.
Felice has more published detail. It is a Tuscan concept and wine bar that started on Manhattan's Upper East Side, and the Boca location joins its Brickell and West Palm Beach outposts. Founder Jacopo Giustiniani's family history of Tuscan winemaking shapes the wine list. The Boca room will seat 150 across the dining room, bar and patio. Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, the team behind Felice Flatiron in New York City, is designing the interior. Boca Magazine gave the timing as "this fall or winter." Simon's directory places Felice on the mall's main level and Limani Grille near the main entrance, also on the main level. Both still list their hours as "Coming Soon."
In the same directory, Tobu in The Cafes at Boca is listed as closed for renovation, with no start or reopening date given. That puts three of Town Center's dining spaces in some stage of change at once. For people who already treat the mall as a dinner stop, the next few months will likely bring the biggest reshuffle of its tables in some time.
What downtown is waiting on
Downtown's fall news is real, but it comes in smaller pieces, and the biggest one hasn't arrived yet.
Fletcher's, at 133 S.E. Mizner Blvd., was announced in June as a restaurant, lounge and private club. It has 3,800 square feet and 120 seats, plus a 40-seat members' room. Co-founder Jake Marr leads it with chef Michael Stember, a former U.S. Olympic track athlete with a background in Japanese fusion and sushi pop-ups in New York and Los Angeles. The menu is described as New American with Japanese and Mediterranean influences, and it includes an omakase sushi experience. The restaurant's own site still says "Opening Fall 2026," without a calendar date. Its membership page describes the private Olive Room as invitation- or referral-based, with inquiries for individual, couple and corporate memberships, and it publishes no prices.
The two downtown openings that did happen this fall are everyday spots:
- Parlor Doughnuts, 9 Plaza Real South in Mizner Park, announced a Sept. 26 grand opening for its doughnuts, coffee and breakfast. A local new-business roundup updated Oct. 8 lists it as open.
- Basilic Vietnamese Cuisine, formerly Basilic Vietnamese Grill, moved to 1901 N.W. Second Ave. Its announced reopening date was Sept. 25, with pho, spring rolls and grilled Vietnamese dishes on the menu.
So downtown added a doughnut counter and a relocated pho shop. Its highest-profile fall project, a members' club with a public dining room, is still pending.
One goodbye on Yamato Road
The season's notable Boca closing also happened north of downtown. Il Fiore, chef-author Michael Monaco's Italian restaurant at 9874 Yamato Road, Suite 114, closed on Aug. 31 after about a year. It was known for pizza and scratch-made sandwiches on Tuscan schiacciata bread, including the Valli with mortadella, stracciatella and pistachio pesto, the Sun Sentinel reported. Anyone who made it a regular lunch stop will need a new one. Café Aroma's croquetas and Boca Brasserie's flatbreads are now a short drive south on Town Center Road.
Building your fall around what's actually open
Here is what is open, what is pending and what to watch as the season fills in:
- Open now on Restaurant Row. Boca Brasserie for dinner and Café Aroma for espresso and pastelitos. Both are confirmed open and a short walk apart.
- Check before you go. Maman at Shadowood Square scheduled its grand opening for Oct. 6, and we have not seen confirmation since. Parlor Doughnuts in Mizner Park and Basilic on N.W. Second Ave. announced late-September openings.
- Watch the Town Center directory. Felice, Limani Grille and the renovated Tobu all show no dates yet. Simon's listings are where a status change will appear first.
- Watch Fletcher's. Its site promises fall 2026. Once a date is posted, the public dining room and the invitation-based Olive Room will open on different terms.
For now, Glades Road has more open tables than downtown, and most of them are the kind you can walk into on a weeknight without a reason to celebrate.
The Glades Road corridor is where Boca Raton's dining map is changing fastest this season.
